On 12 July 2022, the Basketball Arbitral Tribunal (BAT) rendered the BAT Award 1710/22 in the financial dispute between an NBA player, Greg Monroe, and his former team, BC Khimki Moscow. While the Sole Arbitrator awarded Greg with all outstanding salary payments until the date of his departure from Moscow in December 2020, she also annulled all disciplinary fines imposed by Khimki on Greg in January 2021. The Sole Arbitrator further dismissed Khimki's counterclaim for damages due to Greg's early departure from Moscow. The BAT Award is final and binding and was issued within a year since we had filed the request for arbitration before the BAT.
